The fleas are not only on your pet
If the cat is scratching and you are waking up with bites around your ankles, fleas are probably already in the carpet, sofa edges, floor cracks or pet bed. Bangkok's heat lets them breed throughout the year. Treating only the animal leaves eggs and larvae in the room. Treating only the room leaves adult fleas on the pet.
What we do
We inspect the places your pet sleeps and spends time, along with carpet edges and cracks in the floor. We treat those areas so adult fleas and larvae in the home are caught as they move through them.
What you need to do
Your vet still needs to treat the cat or dog. We treat the home; we do not replace veterinary flea treatment. Both need to happen, or fleas can move back and forth between the room and the animal.
What to expect after treatment
Eggs already in the room can hatch after the visit, so a second treatment is common. Keep children and pets away from the immediate work area until the dust has settled, and do not vacuum all of the treated material away on the same day.
How our treatment is different
We use food-grade mineral dust in carpets, floor cracks and pet-bedding areas rather than spraying pesticide throughout the room. The treatment stays focused on the places where the flea lifecycle is happening.
