Bed bugs are not a cleanliness problem
Bed bugs arrive on luggage, clothing and second-hand furniture. They turn up in hostels, hotels and expensive condos alike. Once inside, they hide in mattress seams, the bed frame, the headboard and nearby furniture, then come out at night to feed.
What we do
We inspect the bed and the hiding places around it. We steam the mattress seams and frame to kill the bugs and eggs the heat can reach, vacuum the treated areas and place a thin layer of food-grade mineral dust in seams and gaps to catch bugs that move through later.
What to expect after treatment
You can sleep in your own bed the same night because we do not fog the room. However, one visit does not always end a bed bug problem. Eggs hidden in a sofa, wall gap or another place the steam could not reach can hatch later. A follow-up is a normal part of many bed bug jobs, not proof that the first treatment failed.
How our treatment is different
The usual answer to bed bugs is to fumigate the room and ask everyone to leave. Our approach combines steam, vacuuming and targeted mineral dust, so we treat the places bed bugs live without filling the entire condo with chemical fog.
